I decided to become an Independent Celebrant after the death of my mother in 2017. I am a mother of four (two home, two flown) and bring much life experience to the ever-evolving celebrant role. I spent a year (in my 20s) at Guildford School of Music and Drama completing a post-grad diploma. I have run my own knitting business (teaching and producing a range of baby knitwear), worked at my local medical practice as medical secretary and worked for a garden designer and vets practice. Aside from parenting, I have never felt so much responsibility as I do now.
Funerals: I am thrown together for a short time with the bereaved and in that intimate time together, I wrap them in a ‘blanket of care’ with compassion and sensitivity. I take time to ensure as much detail as possible goes into a service, giving my best performance on the day. It is a privilege to do this work and I am positively passionate about what I do.

Together we will create a ceremony full of enchanting moments that celebrate you as a couple, as well as delighting and surprising your guests.

Aside from work, I love walking in the countryside, gardening, knitting, crocheting and unwinding with my family. I am married to Peter, an architect who works from home and we live in rural chaos/bliss on the Kent/Sussex border with our two children together, chickens and whippet.
