Married, with a grown up son, I live in the Kent countryside and enjoy the outdoors (usually in the company of my dog) and singing in a number of choirs.
I have been a school governor for many years and chaired a number of governing bodies.
I have been told that I can find the right words for any occasion and my voice will find every corner of a room, or cope with addressing an open-air gathering.
Friends and family encouraged me to train as a celebrant having heard me write and deliver a number of eulogies.
Doing so has allowed me to combine the skills I’ve acquired over many years as both a speaker and writer.
It is a privilege to work with families and create services and, when requested, eulogies, that truly reflect their wishes and capture the essence of the person whose life we are celebrating.
I am happy to provide an entirely secular funeral or to include elements of faith or religion, as may be preferred.
I have a good knowledge of music and literature (especially poetry) and can assist with choices of music and readings.
