I grew up in the UK and studied English and Italian literature at Cambridge University and Comparative Education and Intercultural Studies at London University. After university I moved to Italy and I have lived in Rome ever since, where I teach Language and Translation Studies at Roma Tre University and have brought up three children.
I am an award-winning translator of Italian literature and poetry and am passionate about music. I sing in a Renaissance all women’s quintet and play the violin, viola and mandolin in a folk group.
I am a UK trained celebrant and am bilingual in Italian and English. Living in Italy, my colleagues at Passaggi and I have built up a network of wedding planners, venue managers and contacts. We are both local and international in our approach and the way we craft the ceremony. I have considerable experience in public speaking and in performing.
I am part of the Passaggi Asociation.
…working in spectacular venues all over Italy to make your day unique. I believe that our inside knowledge of Italy will make your ceremony seamless and trouble-free and allow us to focus on you and you alone.
