My entire working life has revolved around people. Up until 2015, I was a lead practitioner in primary education. Having worked my way up through the system starting as a class teacher, my last position was that of Director of Teaching and Learning for an Academy Chain based in the Midlands. It was time for a change and now I have swapped the rewards of providing tomorrow’s future with the challenges, support and guidance to be successful in like to with helping people create a truly memorable day when celebrating that special occasion.
I have three children and one step child, all girls. They have taught me that life is precious, life is what you make of it and life should be celebrated, whether it is as you enter this world, leave this world or decided to share this world with someone special.
I was inspired to follow the path of a celebrant when attending a celebration of life (funeral) of a dear friend of mine who passed away. The ceremony left me breathless. The lead celebrant had left me determined to follow her lead, a lead that has allowed me to assist in making other people’s celebrations as special as the one I experienced.
I haven’t looked back; becoming a leading celebrant has been the best decision of my working life I have ever made.
I am not affiliated to any church or humanist organisations so I am able to give you what you want for you ceremony. I am not bound to follow any scripts, only what you want to include. “Your day, your say and your way”
It is your celebration but I can guide and advise you to ensure that your day is not only memorable but meaningful to you.
I Really Love…
